Sara Lamm is a documentary filmmaker, writer and mindfulness teacher working at the intersection of community, contemplative practice, and social change. Her feature films include Birth Story: Ina May Gaskin and The Farm Midwives; Thank You for Coming; and Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soapbox. Her work has screened at festivals, theaters, maternal health organizations, and universities all over the world, including at the LA Film Festival, DOCNYC, MASS-MOCA, Yale Medical School, Columbia School of Public Health, on PBS and the Sundance Channel, and at the McMurdo Station in Antarctica. She holds a certificate in Embodied Social Justice from The Embody Lab, has served on multiple boards with emphasis on DEI leadership, and facilitates two weekly meditation groups.
