Marsha Kinder, a USC professor in Critical Studies, is a film and media scholar who specializes in Spanish cinema, children’s media and database narrative. The author of 10 books and over 100 published essays, she is the founding director of The Labyrinth Project, an art collective and USC research initiative on database documentary that has produced award-winning multimedia installations, websites and archival cultural histories in collaboration with artists, scientists, scholars, archivists and cultural institutions.
