Synopsis: Each year in the U.S., nearly 5,000 high-school girls’ basketball players earn a full-ride Division I scholarship. In 1992, only one was Native American: Blackfeet Nation’s Malia Kipp. Living in two worlds presented challenges, but Kipp carried the burden with grace and grit. Described by her chief as “a warrior,” she blazed a heroic and inspiring trail for other Native girls to follow.

Jonathan Cipiti is a documentary director who believes story has the power to change the world. He seeks to capture the essence of humanity, and remind us that our stories, no matter how ordinary, possess an extraordinary power to unite, uplift, and inspire. Megan Harrington is a Senior Producer at Family Theater Productions, overseeing the management of production on various films. She serves as producer, co-director, and co-writer for the Emmy® and Christopher Award-winning “The House That Rob Built” and the award-winning “Native Ball: Legacy of a Trailblazer”. She is a producer and co-writer for the Gabriel and Christopher Award-winning “PRAY: The Story of Patrick Peyton” and “The Dating Project.” Harrington received an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at the University of Montana.
